Streets of Marseille

Having spent a few hours in Marseille, and having reflected on it for a few months, it’s safe to say I should be considered anything but an expert. My initial (and only) impression was that it was a city divided by Vieux-Port (The Old Port). The Northern half was home to more of a the migrant/working class residents while the Southern half leading up to the cathedral overlooking the city, Notre-Dame de la Garde was home to more of the profession/white collar residents.
