About Me
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by. I was born in Fullerton, California and now reside in beautiful Huntington Beach, California. This site has been a long time coming and I finally came to the conclusion that if I waited until everything was perfect I would never get this site off the ground! So bear with me as I'm sure there will be some growing pains along the way.
I took up photography as a serious hobby while experiencing some amazing trips abroad and around the world. I took along my camera on a family trip to London and Ireland and was exhilirated trying with the beautiful and amazing scenery everywhere around me. By the time I took a trip starting in New Zealand and ending in New Orleans, with stops in India, Bavaria, and Amsterdam I was hooked. It was a new passion, attempting to capture the fantastic sights the world has to offer. I drove my travel partner crazy, whether it was the history of the Taj Mahal or the majesty of the Black Forest or the rainforest of New Zealand I wanted to spend all day with the camera.
So now photography is no longer just a hobby, it's a passion that continues to thrill and teach me new things. And not only have I Iearned (or attempted to learn!) the technical aspects, but photography has brought me closer to nature and the world around me. No longer do I simply look at the world around me, but I experience the world around me. The way the light dances off the leaves, the texture of a sunlight cliffside, the interplay of light and shadows...things I might have noticed, but never stopped to pay attention to.
That is what photography means to me, a way to experience the world around me. I hope I can share that passion with my visitors and that you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed putting it together.
