Along the coast of Central California near San Simeon lies a breeding ground for the elephant seals. At times there are thousands on the beach...though we arrived a little early in the season for that. Still, a hundred plus littered the beach...mostly in some state of snooze, much like this adorable "little" creature who somehow reminded me a lot of kaiser sleeping.
