Good morning from Tulum, Mexico and the lovely La Zebra cabanas, today is 24 hours of no shoes! Today we were treated to a glorious sunrise..and sun! We work early and had the beach to ourselves, as Andree patiently watched me photograph everything around us. After a nice quiet breakfast we camped ourselves on our beach chairs underneath an umbrella and spent all morning sipping on beer, watching the waves roll in, reading, and an occasional dip in the warm waters. We sat in the chairs through lunch...returned to the chairs after lunch for a quick nap...and took a nice long 2+ mile walk along the glorious Tulum beach (and nicely discovered we are staying in the best place along the beach!).

A quiet evening (and lots of aloe!!!! redheads don't do well in the sun...while Andree is nice and bronzed) and dinner in the restaurant (with a live band...we shall see how that goes) and all in all today could be described as simply fantastic.
