Hello from Tulum! After a pleasant morning in Playa Del Carmen (sun!) on the beach and a last dip in the rooftop jacuzzi we took a taxi to Tulum.

You picture tropical Mexico, the sand, the azure blue sea, the palm trees....it's nothing like when you first hit the top of the dune and feel the ocean breeze and the breathtaking beauty that opens up before you. And then you realize...not only do you have 5 days to look forward to, but the view from your front porch (of a small cabana!) is...this.

We may never leave, especially if the weather holds (some serious rain this afternoon, but the weather is supposed to break).
