Hola from Playa! Today was a slow day, the weather was once again cloudy with mid afternoon rain...so we took it easy and spent the afternoon walking through town and sitting (under cover!) along the beach.

In the evening we headed over to El Alux, a bar/restaurant built in a stalactite filled cave. I must say, it was quite the sight, the cave all lit up, hidden tables in little nooks...but part of me kept thinking...really...a bar in a natural treasure like this? No way they'd build something like this in the states.

The evening was spent at Babe's Thai restaurant in Playa...absolutely fantastic.

Tomorrow we are off for Tulum and our beachfront cabana!
