Hello...ok, it's been awhile since I've made some updates, been quite a hectic few weeks with the holidays, going back in to the office, some personal stuff (quite good), and a road trip to Yosemite with Marcus! We were hoping for snow on the road trip...but alas didn't get any snow until the morning we were leaving and we didn't have time to enjoy the wonder that is Yosemite blanketed under a fresh snow. And apparently it snowed all week after we left! But, never fear...we did get to enjoy plenty of brisk borderline freezing temperature...so it wasn't a total loss (and by the way...light technical jackets are not warm enough in freezing temperature...no matter how much you layer!
This shot was from Cook's Meadow at the base of Yosemite Falls...the famous elm tree can be seen in the lower right of the frame while Half Dome and clouds dominate the skyline. Quite the magical site watching the sun rise over the valley.
Happy Holidays!
