Agra Fort, also known as Lal Qila or the Red Fort of Agra is located about 2.5km northwest of the Taj Mahal.

Agra Fort is where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son in Muasamman Burj, a tower with a marble balcony and an excellent view of the Taj Mahal.
