Heading out for a weekend road trip to the Salton Sea this weekend! Woohoo. Will be nice to catch both the sunrise and sunset and spend a little more time leisurely strolling around the lake. Including a visit to the Jesus Hill!

Not quite the glamor of the North Shore of Hawaii...but beautiful in it's desolation. Just 40 miles away from Palm Springs, and what many thought would be a burgeoning resort and play ground for the rich lies the abandoned remnants of the Salton Sea's North Shore.
