A nondescript sky, little interest in the water...but there's something I like about this image when I convert it to black and white. Shot in a deserted area of Bombay Beach along the Salton Sea, I think it has to do with the isolation I feel when I look at this image. The lone post standing amongst some debris, all that is left on this area of the beach. A testament to what once was, but will never be again.

When viewed large you can see some gulls flying over the lake.
