A quaint peaceful dirt road, which actually leads to the cemetary at Manzanar outside of Bishop off the 395. For those unfamiliar with Manzanar it was an internment camp for Japanese during World War II. I had seen some photos from Ansel Adams in the area so on my way up to Mono Lake I decided to stop off. The cemetary is in the back of what is really just empty land and a dirt road. Desolate and empty...but quite powerful.
