During a trip to Kings Canyon National Park in May of 2005 I was walking around the parking lot gathering stuff from the car after we arrived late at night. I noticed the moonlight through the trees and thought to myself, what a beautiful image. So I dropped everything and setup the camera. This is really one of my first attempts at nightime long exposure and it was tough because I didn't have a stop watch...so I stood out in the cold trying to count to 120 (and having the attention span of a gnat that can be tough) while having to cover the lens as some guy kept walking back and forth in the parking lot shining his flashlight at me trying to figure out what I was doing...I think the nasty glance I threw him made him only more interested as he then proceeded to walk right in front of the camera. Arse.
But I still like some of the images that came out.
